Leslie is an artist and illustrator from Marietta, Georgia

where she lives with her husband and two children. She's always loved to draw and paint and make things with her hands, and from a young age used her sketchbook as a tool to observe, record, and understand the world around her.

She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies: Scientific Illustration, then went on to earn a Masters degree in Medical and Biological Illustration from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.

Leslie is an active member and Fellow (FAMI) of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI). As a Board Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI) with over 20 years experience, she creates visually compelling and scientifically accurate illustrations for physicians, researchers, educators, legal exhibits, and medical device companies.

She brings the same observational drawing skills, facility with a variety of both traditional and digital media, focus on visual storytelling, and attention to detail from her illustration career to her fine art work.
